Jelrico — also known as DopeMannn Jay and Mr. Jay Gonzalez — is an independent hip-hop and R&B artist, audio engineer, and entrepreneur based in Winston-Salem, NC. Since 2019, he has self-produced, mixed, mastered, and engineered a growing catalog of music from a home studio he built himself, including original graphic design for every release.

With 4 studio albums and 10+ singles released between 2022 and 2026, Jelrico's sound blends introspective lyricism with melodic rap and R&B influence. As the founder of Jelrico Music & Entertainment LLC (JME Records) and an MBA candidate with a concentration in Music Business, he brings creative depth and business acumen to every project.
